The single door on the Kool-It KBSR-1 reach-in refrigerator locks to reduce the risk of theft and tampering. This door self-closes to keep out warm air but can stay open if needed to facilitate loading and product retrieval. If the door is left open longer than 3 minutes, an alarm alerts employees so they can shut the unit to protect its contents.
