In commercial use, the unit’s stainless steel construction resists bends and scuffs. Its chrome-plated grid can be adjusted to six positions with a knob that stays cool to the touch. A spillage pan in the Wolf C36IRB salamander broiler collects overflow to facilitate cleaning.

This unit features a high-efficiency, high-output, 40 gallon design that allows you to create large batches of seared, grilled, sauteed, or simmered foods without the mess and inefficiency of stockpots and ranges. This unit's pan is made of stainless steel with a polished interior surface and coved corners for easy cleanout. Plus, it has embossed gallon markings on the sides for easy measuring. The 12 kW flat firebar elements are mounted to the outside of the steel bottom plate for even heat distribution and a spring-assisted hinged stainless steel cover is included to help contain heat and steam.
