Johnson Thermal Systems-U-ET-20DIA-2SL. JTS chillers are designed for closed loop temperature control and incorporate a complete refrigeration system and a closed loop hydronic system. The hydronic system pumps water at a constant flow, and the refrigeration system will cycle the compressor in order to maintain a stable water temperature leaving the chiller and out to the process. On systems equipped with modulating compressors, the controller will vary the capacity of the compressors in addition to cycling to maintain temperature. The control system supplied with the chiller will manage the pump(s), control temperature by cycling modulating the compressor(s), and handles all safety interlocks and alarms. No additional controllers are required. Standard systems are supplied with single point power, where a single 240/3, 380/3, or 480/3 power supply is connected to the unit, which is then distributed to all motor starters and to a control transformer to supply low voltage control power.
