The Crown Steam SX-55EC convection steamer has two independent compartments that accommodate 10 total food pans. To ensure proper cooking times, it has a 60-minute timer that sounds an alarm to inform nearby employees when food is ready. Trapping heat inside, the door has a seal around its perimeter, and the steam automatically stops when the door is open, resuming as soon as it's shut. Elevating it off the ground, this unit is mounted on a cabinet base, while four legs provide security. To ensure clean water, the Crown Steam SX-55EC commercial convection steamer has a filter, and the power switch has three functions: on, off, and delime. Users can then use the spring release to pop open the door and retrieve the food pans. When a door opens, steam flow to that compartment stops to reduce the risk of user burns, and if water drips when the door is open, a drip trough keeps it away from the kitchen floor.
